Grey Nurses

14th March 2010

Great weekend with good food and company. Had a roast on Saturday night which you can’t beat, after a great day of diving with the Grey Nurse sharks. Must have been 5 to 6 of very curious sharks which kept us entertained on a few of our dives!! How will the guys top this on the next trip….. Kim (Sydney)

Another great weekend with Mick and Lyne and the crew, Ocean Trek is becoming my home away from home! Gorgeous weather with lovely times sitting on the deck in the sun in between dives, sharing stories of the dive and eating Karen’s wonderful hot muffins. And what stories we had to tell of the dives ….. grey nurse sharks galore discovered on our second dive on Saturday and which we shared more of on our third dive. The largest of the sharks was about 3 metres and pregnant which meant she was very big and fat. On the third dive the sharks swam around us and we sat beside a rock to watch, all of us in awe of these wonderful creatures. This trip will never be forgotten! Many thanks to Mick and Lyne and the crew. Carolyn.

Perfect weekend. Nothing beats bobbing about on a boat between some memorable dives. First time to Jervis Bay…will be back for sure. Ocean Trek very well run boat, excellent detailed briefings, safety conscious, good food and great hosts. All you could want on a live aboard. May thanks. Matt

Ocean Trek – the ultimate live aboard! I have enjoyed many great weekend on board, but never did we have the Forster/South West Rocks-like shark encounter! Mick and Lynn you’ve done it again! Thanks for a great weekend. Karin.

Totally surpassed expectations – thanks to Mick and Lyne and all the crew for a brilliant weekend. The Grey Nurses were undoubtably the highlight but close encounters with bull rays, wobbes and weedies were wonderful too. Ocean Trek is a great boat - can’t imagine diving Jervis Bay any other way, so will definitely be back! Elly
