Richard’s Birthday Weekend

5th May 2013

This only occurs yearly, but diving is all the time all year round. Richard enjoys his domestic diving as well his many overseas trips each year. To enhance his diving Richard has many and I mean MANY toys. They range from underwater scooters to a multitude of the latest cameras, both BIG and small.

Another lovely weekend on OceanTrek – made all the more fun celebrating Richard’s birthday. Lots of wildlife under the sea and at last I have managed to take a half decent photo – of a Weedy Sea Dragon. Many thanks again to Lynne and Mick for a great weekend.

Our first trip on Ocean Trek. Had fantastic weekend, with 5 great dives. Mick and Lynne were great hosts. Dived 4 different sites, all with lots of wildlife. Loved the whole weekend, would love to come back.

It was my first live-aboard trip on Ocean Trek. I had a great time playing "guess this song" after dinner. Mick and Lynne were great and Carly Two was a great cook! Yummy! I had a great night dive with Richard where he showed me some of the tricks he uses to get great photos with his monster-rig! There was lots of interesting sea life around Jervis Bay and we saw a baby Port Jackson shark, he was so cute! Little nudibranchs were very cute and so colourful! Then after each dive Mick and Lynne were there to help us with all our gear back onto the boat and get us ready for our next dive! Thanks very much for the great weekend! Definitely visiting again to see some seals!

Another terrific time on board Ocean Trek. Wonderful time above and below the water. Mick and Lyn, as always, spoilt us all weekend with their friendship and wonderful knowledge of diving and the local area. Carly excelled herself in the kitchen, the food was first class, not to mention the muffins.

So till next time, thanks heaps for a wonderful weekend in paradise.
